Founded in 2015, Astray Valley is a modern metal band from Barcelona made up of Clau Violette on vocals and gutturals, Joan Vena and AdriĆ  Funerailles on guitars, Alex Albano on bass and Unai Splinters on drums, differentiating themselves within the genre for the use of mystical and dark stories in music, image and concerts.

Astray Valley’s debut album, ‘Unneth’, was released in Europe, USA and Japan under Wormholedeath Records (Warner Music Group) / The Orchard (Sony Music), gathering very positive reviews by the national and international press.

During the last years, the band has been part of festivals such as Rock Fest Barcelona (sharing the stage with bands like Aerosmith, Alice Cooper, Deep Purple, Avantasia, Alter Bridge, Ensiferum, among others), Leyendas del Rock, and tours and dates with bands like The Agonist, Jinjer, Infected Rain, Butcher Babies, Oceans Ate Alaska and Reincidentes, as well as an international tour that covered most of the European territory, with dates in Germany, France, Holland, Belgium, Spain and Portugal.

Astray Valley’s new album, “Midnight Sun”, is now available on all digital platforms.

In 2020, Astray Valley joins forces with the music agency Sorrow Music and Duque Producciones for the launch of their second album ‘Tales of Lun’, accompanied by three singles with music videos, one of them featuring Lena Scissorhands from Infected Rain.

‘Tales of Lun’ was released in October 2021 accompanied by a presentation tour throughout the peninsula, in addition to performances at various national festivals, including Leyendas del Rock 2022. The tour ended in December 2022 in Barcelona, presenting a new show with the participation of actresses, dancers, and the scenery and main props of the band’s latest video clips.

In 2022, Astray Valley signs with Art Gates Records and begins work on their next album ‘Midnight Sun’, an LP that completely evolves the band’s sound and explores new musical passages and styles. Produced, recorded, mixed and mastered by Joan Vena, Txosse Ruiz (Wheel Sound Studios) and Max Morton (Morton Studios, producer of Jinjer and Shokran), the album has been released in December 2023 accompanied by various singles with new video clips and new release dates.
